The Bride
Kelly Yutesler
Kelly grew up on Long Island, where she began her teaching career in a psychiatric ward - fitting practice for the transition to middle school. Following graduate school as a medievalist, she moved to Prince George’s County, where she spent the next decade teaching English. She now teaches social studies in DC Public Schools.
The Groom
Adam Labay
Adam grew up in the Bay Area, where everybody around him knew that he would eventually end up teaching math. Sure enough, he put his engineering degree to good use by yelling at defenseless children about linear equations for eight years as a math teacher. He continues to work in the DC education space as a data systems specialist.
The Registry
Especially in this time of pandemic, we are fortunate to have jobs that we enjoy and that compensate us well. In lieu of gifts, we ask that you consider donating to the organizations below so that others can experience the comfort and dignity so many of us take for granted.
